The story of Slydigs didn’t start with lonely musicians answering an ad in a newspaper; it didn’t start in some rented practice rooms with four strangers looking at each other, this band sprang from the roots of desperation where only the love of music can pull you through. When a gang of rag tag scallywags looked at their meagre lot and 'got their shit together.'
Ten years before the guitars, before the gigs, before the guest lists, this band fought laughed and cried together. They are brothers and you can see it, feel it, hear it in every note. They have a zest for life that shines through with every chord they play and sing. Songs that are relevant no matter where you come from or what social class you belong to
From the overlooked confines of the north, where the desolate shell of a dead industrial empire hangs heavy, this band brings light, hope and an adrenalin shock of lust, love and devastating charisma. Just when you may think that rock' n 'roll had been consigned to the history books, here comes a band that will fill your head with dreams and your heart with hope.
Slydigs’ ship sails straight and true on waves of pure blues rock 'n' roll.

With a multitude of influences from Guns & Roses to Halestorm, and Muse to Crobot, Flowerpot is a young energetic 4 piece infusing intricate drum beats, catchy slashing guitar riffs, thumping heavy bass lines and powerful melodic vocals to produce an exciting and unique new sound in the world of rock

Fire Fences are one of Wales’ most promising and exciting young rock bands. With a wide range of influences this band captures its audience with sheer energy and enthusiasm. Having played in cities ranging from Los Angeles to London this band has a thirst for their music to be heard all around the world. Forte Project 2016, a scheme that recognises and assists the development of the best new music from Wales chose to work with Fire Fences and the band are currently showing no signs of slowing.

  • Slydigs

2016 has seen Slydigs electrify stadiums across the globe
leaving audiences stunned, elated and craving for more from
their ‘new found love’. Few bands return from a debut North
American and European tour supporting rock legends The Who
and claim standing ovations at every single show.

The Rock’N’Roll four piece haven’t just won over the audiences
though, they have also enjoyed spectacular reviews and
interviews with television, radio and print press such as: Rolling
Stone, Classic Rock, Grazia, BBC, Rockpalast (German TV) and
FOX Television... to name but a few.

From the heart of the Northwest of England, a region with a
proud heritage of producing bands like The Beatles, The Stone
Roses, Oasis, The Smiths, The Verve, and now Slydigs. A band
who bring a fierce modern edge to a classic Rock’n’Roll sound,
earning them an ever-growing fan-base both at home and

Co-founders of the band, Dean Fairhurst (Front Man) and Louis
Menguy (Lead Guitarist) are driven by the need to “Express our
own obsessions through music, like The Clash, The Rolling Stones,The Who and create our own legacy.”

Fresh from their tour with The Who in April/May 2016, Slydigs
were invited once again to support Californian blues and soul
outfit, Vintage Trouble for a second UK and European tour often
sharing the stage with one of the world’s best guitarists, Nalle
Colt, for a show stopping rendition of Jimi Hendrix’s ‘Hey Joe’.

After a blistering set by Slydigs was featured on German TV’s
Rockpalast whilst supporting Vintage Trouble, the boys were
invited back to Europe to headline two of their own shows in
Cologne and Berlin finishing up at The Reeperbahn Festival in

Slydigs are making their name in the furthest corners of the
earth, with their track ‘Light The Fuse’ featuring on the computer
game ‘Rock Band 4’, whilst British Airways are featuring
‘Suburban Confinement’ - a documentary of the birth of Slydigs
    on their in-flight entertainment.

2017 is just around the corner and the band are currently in
the studio recording new demos. With gigs and festivals on the
horizon, the future is exceedingly bright for these saviours of
Rock’ N’ Roll from the North.
