An innate fusion of metalcore, progressive metal, alternative rock, and pop sensibilities, their fierce sonic output is epitomised by infectious hooks against their explosive sound. The group are led by their breathtaking lead vocal tandem, a magical chemistry of bassist Kira Neil, alongside the electrifying Melbourne born, Barcelona raised front-woman Amariah Cook. 

Now one of Australia’s most talked about breakthrough heavy acts, Future Static unveiled their critically acclaimed debut album, ‘Liminality’, on November 24th, 2023 via Wild Thing Records - landing #1 on the Australian AIR Independent Album charts. Following taking the Australian live circuit by storm and their first international touring adventures, the release of ‘Liminality’ marked the next step in the band’s hugely promising career. 

In the UK, Future Static early on were championed by Alex Baker of Kerrang! Radio, announcing “big things are on the horizon for this band”. Stunning UK reviews of ‘Liminality’ followed, with Soundsphere Magazine proclaiming “Future Static are one of the most exciting bands on the planet…They have put out an album that is the future of metal”, while Metal Hammer declared they’re “striking a balance between enormity and viciousness that makes their debut album ‘Liminality’ so fresh and exciting”.

Last fall, the group concluded their first international jaunt across Europe and the UK, including dates with The Omnific, plus appearances at legendary German festivals Reeperbahn and Euroblast. At home, Future Static have toured with German superstars Electric Callboy, Ukrainian prog-metal powerhouse Jinjer, and Eurovision alumni Aussies Voyager, plus being hand-picked for shows with artists as diverse as Crossfaith, Alpha Wolf, Destroy Rebuild Until God Shows, Caligula's Horse, Clowns, RedHook, Windwaker, Bloom, Circles, and Casey; plus performing at iconic festivals UNIFY, Knight & Day, and more.
