Pussycat and The Dirty Johnsons + The menstrual cramps + The Sinictones live at The Louisiana, Friday 25th November 2022
Join us for a badass night of Dirty Rock n Roll and Riot Grrl with a side order of Slutty Surf.
9.45 - 10.30 – PUSSYCAT & THE DIRTY JOHNSONS
9.00 - 9.30 – THE MENSTRUAL CRAMPS
8.15 - 8.45 – THE SINICTONES
Pussycat and the Dirty Jonhsons:
THE FORMIDABLE PUSSYCAT IS RENOWNED FOR PROWLING THE AUDIENCE WHILE THE ADRENALINE FUELLED DIRTY JOHNSON BOYS POUND OUT THEIR INFECTIOUS BRAND OF DIRTY ROCK’N’ROLL. LIKE ALL CATS THEY’RE HARD TO PIN DOWN AND HAVE BEEN DESCRIBED AS ONE OF THE MOST INCENDIARY LIVE BANDS IN THE UK.
The Menstrual Cramps:
Sassy, strong, and unapologetic I believe that this band is working hard to say all the things most of us are too scared to articulate. They are tasteful and very too-the-point, there is no sugarcoating within their lyrics, and their live performance certainly reflects this energy. If you’re looking for an inspirational and educated political awakening, with a side of flavourful, fun and poignant riffs, I will endlessly recommend The Menstrual Cramps.
(Bristol Gig Guide review)
Are the originators of Psycho Surf Noir, combining frantic surf drums with classic spy beat guitar riffs and Film Noir, B-Movie, Femme Fatale and Kink vocal themes.
This aint no cheesy west coast summertime California groove...It's cheesy chips on the pier at Weston Super-Mare in December...
It's surf, but not as you know it !
Show starts at 7:30pm.
