HighSchool are the Melbourne trio Lilli and Rory Trobbiani and Luke Scott, whose infectious debut EP, Forever at Last, proved a perfect primer to their stylish indie-goth world...
“A sprawling and gorgeous thing.” NME
"Unashamedly hook-driven art pop elation.” So Young
“Potent indie pop that recalls early Beach Fossils, aspects of The Cure, while channelling The Go-Betweens.” CLASH
Moving to the UK last year, they wasted no time, playing shows with the likes of CHVRCHES, NewDad and Wet Leg, as well as numerous festivals including All Points East, End of the Road, The Great Escape, Manchester Psych Festival, Sea Change, Standon Calling and Visions. They also played their first shows in Europe, selling out venues in Berlin, Dublin and Paris. Recording with in-demand producer Dan Carey (Foals, Fontaines D.C., Wet Leg), they finished the year with the 7” release of the anthemic ‘Only a Dream’ on Dan’s Speedy Wunderground label before returning to Australia to tour with Sam Fender and play their first hometown show, headlining a sold out Corner Hotel in Melbourne. Currently working on their debut album for release in the near future, HighSchool are next out on tour this May, where they’ll play six headline shows in Brighton, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, London and Manchester. Supports will be announced soon.
Show starts at 7:30pm.
