Mass House -Bristol based Brummies baking banging beats. 4 synths. 1 drum machine. 2 gobs. 1 synth-punk sound
Enabling Behaviour- Overtly pretentious and emotionally sterile, Enabling Behaviour are probably the most overrated band you've heard all year. Emerging from the primordial sonic ooze of the bleaker side of the Cornish post punk scene, their sound has been described as 'unbearable noise' by their neighbours - but don't let that put you off, because they need the ticket sales to afford their extravagant and hedonistic lifestyles. If you like Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive, Placebo, Pixies, Slint or Joy Division then prepare to be insulted by the bastard children of the noisy alternative giants of the last century.
She Knows are a five piece art-rock band based in Bristol, UK. Frenzied, heavy post punk passage are interspersed with string-led softer sections, tender croons with desperate howls. The opaque, stream-of-consciousness lyricism may call to mind the work of Mark E. Smith, Laurie Anderson or Samuel Beckett. Musically, She Knows may appeal to fans of contemporary post-punk revival bands like Black Midi or Black Country, New Road as well as classic art rock artists like Talking Heads and Berlin-era David Bowie.
Show starts at 7:30pm.
