Eve Appleton Band + Trans-Siberian Express + Melrose. Downstairs solo exhibition by Annabelle Keyes.

Annabelle Keyes’ debut solo exhibition featuring her ethereally industrial paintings and found object assemblage sculptures. With live music from local artists to celebrate the opening of her exhibition.

Eve Appleton Band (or EAB) as a project has taken on personal tales of hardship, glee and everything inbetween. Expect to hear 60s folk revival, americana and alternative folk.

The rising stars ground themselves solidly in folk traditions with echoes of Joan Baez. Laced with exquisite storytelling EAB's songs are not only poignant but extremely danceable and uplifting, a rare quality for ones so young.

Crowned the Green Man Rising of 2023, playing a host of festivals and venues ever since, they are in the process of releasing some beautifully composed and curated tracks.

The Exhibition - Annabelle Keyes

Lingering within a synthesis of the gritty terrestrial and the mythical divine, her work explores the eternal and universal pursuit of home. This investigation has shifted toward the tools we fabricate and the alchemical magic integral to our ability to construct. Created in Bristol since her move to the city in Autumn 2025, this body of work is deeply influenced by Bristol’s vibrant, folky spirit and the ancient sites that encircle it.

Guided by synchronicity, Annabelle aligns this ongoing search for sanctuary with a pilgrimage through the wilderness, collecting and painting the talismanic waymarkers in the periphery, { lost keys, hagstones, metal scraps, weathered artefacts, dappled sunlight } fragments often left unnoticed, here repositioned as an archive of sacred, navigational imagery.
