"The worst band name since Elbow" - Guy Garvey, BBC 6music
Rail Replacement Bus Service is a songwriting collective founded by Tom Hammond after the split of his former band, Heir. Seeking a new vessel for his creativity, Tom teamed up with Lily Sturt-Bolshaw (Sunflower Thieves) and George Harris (formerly of Askies) to create music that fuses Alternative, Folk, and Indie influences.
The recordings have been shaped by the invaluable contributions of Mike Halls (Clean Cut Kid), who co-produced the first three volumes alongside Lily Sturt-Bolshaw and Tom Hammond.
With a new song released every month, Rail Replacement Bus Service invites listeners into a world of autobiographical storytelling, collaboration, and raw honesty.
Show starts at 7:00pm.
